I just bought myself a packet of Smarties at the local Spar.
For those of you who don't know what smarties are, it's round little pieces of chocolate, covered with sugar.
Now when I opened and ate some of these sweets, they were so bloody hard to chew, that it was no fun.
How can shop keepers keep such old stock in their shops, not to mention the fact that they sell them at the normal price!
Now I realise that to some of you, this might have little, or no importance, but since I'm a chocoholic, this is so . damn. disappointing!
Hard? Uh....... well, not sure I get that.... hmm. no. gross.
Aww Quinten!!! I hate it when that happens. *huggs* I suggest you open the package at the store, before you leave, and test it to see if it's good next time. heheheh I do that!!!
*sexy*
Ewwwww. Never saw that. That's disgusting. How can they do it?
Urghhh! Did you complain at all if they are selling semi decomposed chocolate, its 10 -1 that they are selling food that will cause health problems..I'd report the filthy.. begger
I discovered that the chocolates were old only when I got back home and the shop was already closed.
But I took it back to the shop today, and got it replaced with fresh ones, so I won't bitch any longer.
Lol. That's interesting.
I'd still complain because these cheapskates have been getting away with this for too long...
The problem is Goblin, that the only body you can complain to about it in this dear country, is the Consumer Council, and they don't really bother to protect the consumers, I know from personal experience.
True and they might laugh if you only complain because of a package of Smarties. As much as it may seem to you - they will laugh about you.
Ahafan that's very true they do plenty of shouting but feck, the hole in the ozone layer is buggered from all that hot air...
